The lessons on recycling were carried out in school partners. Students went to parks and forests to clean up the areas.

Workshops on recycling and reusing waste materials. Students had a great opportunity to develp their manual and artistic skills. The activity "From rubbish to Art" was an incredible way of expression and simultaniously the chance to limit useless plastic and metal items. Both teachers and students learnt and had fun.

Eco-friendly Christmas Tree. Following the projects assumptionsn this time students created eco-friendly, zero-waste Christmas decorations. They used material like: - crayon shavings - used paper sheets - metal caps - plastic straws - pine cones collected in wood

"Recycling Art Workshops" was the time to develop students' imagination to craete new things using paper and cardboard wastes. This action has to aim to make students aware how many wonderful and useful items which can be both decorations or didactic materials.

"Crazy vegetable campaign" was held. This activity was dedicated to promote strangely shaped vegetables, which are not usually sold in supermarkets but they are perfectly good to be eaten. This activity was the part of ZERO WASTE IN THE KITCHEN.

We say NO to plastic. The biggest danger in the modern world is omnipresent plastic. In the presentation prepared by Portuguese students we learnt about huge drifting plastic island which is not going to disappear and continuously is getting bigger. The plastic waste can be found in animals' stomaches killing them and making them sufferring. It is extremaly important to collect evry single tap, straw etc. to save animals. Our project has to change the young minds.

Zero-waste Fashion Show. This activity was the top creative one. Students prepared the clothes collection made of waste like plastic, cardboard, newspapers. They presented them in a professional way like in Milano or Paris. The audience got crazy with big applause and vivats. The culminating moment was the show of wedding dress made of newspapers. It was unforgettable eco-friendly event.

"Ecological picnic" was organised to promote and educate the youngest students with the necessity of sorting and recycling waste. 5R rules were introduced: 1. Reuse 2. Recycle 3. Reduce 4. Refuse 5. Rot Students played educational games and learnt new slogans with deep understanding of meaning. We bellieve that early education is the key for longlasting success.

Zero Waste in the kitchen presented by students. One of the project aims is to make students and families not waste the food. We encourage others to find nice recipes for left-overs in the kitchen. Some ideas you can find in our "Zero waste in the kitchen" cookery book. Let's be creative and have fun.

"Colours of the Nature" - art galleries dedicated to the beauty of our planet Earth. All art works show what can be lost if we don't stop massive devastation of the Earth and life on it.

"Clean up public areas" - it is long-lasting action which is repeated every year. Students and teachers help to keep public ares free of trash. Our institutions co-operate with recysling companies, which supply our schools with equipment. It is important to educate youth to keep clean around themselves.

'Meetings with experts" is a big chance to see what the real facts about recycling and changing social habits. Students are informed how harmful toxic substunces can be to the environment. Learnig good habits from the youth is a strong solution for better life in future.

"Green Workshops" - students had a real chance to contribute for better and greener future. First step was to make flower pots from recycled materials. Then, seeding plant in those flower pots was a real fun. Students were to take observations fo rsome time and share their knoledge in the biology classes. Moreover some forestry quizes and games were carried out.

A Message from the Earth" - this symposium was a debate on a high level. Stydents presented visual materials PPTX or Video conserning the environmental problems, reasons for this situation and possible solutions to it. As a project community we believe that doing small steps gives real chance to be successful in our actions. Students and teachers compared different problems in the our countries. They also talked about global changes that we as humans face today. But how much time do we have ? The question is useless. We need take care of the Earth right now. There is no time!!!

"Zero Waste Hunt" - it was a game played by students. They were given some instructions with tasks to be done. The priority of the game was sharing the project aims and achievements with local people. Students wer to interview passer-bys and exchange their opinions.
